drums of death - Black Waves EP
Civil Music present the first brand new material from Drums Of Death since the debut album nearly 12 months ago. Still riding the rave beast, hard, 'Cold Lazerus' gallops out with hair-raising saw tooth synths and swing kicks, while 'Lost Highway' leans back for a cooler slowfast bounce with arcing blue synth-pop motifs. If you're only going to nab one track, the rave vamps and cold subbass drops of 'I Can't Take It' form the obvious highlight, while 'Love's Labour's Lost' tips out to purely tranced-up hands-in-the-air arpeggios.
