Your eyes do not deceive you, this is a new Anstam release! 50 Weapons' latest features a cut a piece from the clandestine duo and like minded digital beat mangler Phon.o, both delivering typically complex and expertly sculpted dancefloor structures. To date, the tight-lipped Anstam have only revealed themselves through three incredible singles released on their self-titled imprint between 2007-2009. 'Albert' follows their lead with more blocks of concrete beats and lurking synths arranged into uniquely aerodynamic syncopations practically on a par with T++ or Ae. Phon.o matches those hi-end production values on 'IL62', shaping a spaciously dubbed-out and robustly techy swinger with grazed beats and detailed atmospheric depth. TIP!!!
