Building anticipation for Exit's Mosaic compilation, Instra:mental and Mode drop a pair of advanced downbeat twysters. Further to their 'Voyeur' cut on Disfigured Dubs, Instra:mental go further inside the machine to find 'Scene 3', sounding like Newcleus gone darkside with armour plated percussion and incredibly crafty mixing trickery. Mode's 'Stepping Stones' is a more elegant composition built with sharp jolts of electroid percussion teetering on halfstep suspension, cushioned with scanning subs and enriched with gorgeous pads.
