Anticipating a new MvO Trio album 'Horizontal Structure', Honest Jon's offer a brand new track from the trio, backed with a heaving Mala remix! The DMZ dude's dreadnaught "rebuild", armour-plates the original elements from NSI.'s Loderbauer, Sasu Ripatti (Luomo) and Moritz with additional synths and a ballast of bassbin-punishing subs for the strongback steppers, opening out with a transient and deliciously high-definition sense of space. The original 'Restructure 2' is quite different to their previous studio recordings, arranging tenderly plucked guitar and ethereal synth swirls around a pulsing, padded, 4/4 rhythm, looking to Africa from a balcony somewhere in deepest Kreuzberg. Completely entrancing stuff. Highly recommended!
