bad autopsy - Bad Autopsy EP
Debut solo release business from Bad Autopsy, adding his quirky-but-rugged Funky style to Ramp. The keen-eared among you may have copped his swish R&B refit on the Ca$h Antic$ 2 12" last week, but don't worry if you didn't, because these tracks are better. 'Rot Pot' starts up with double vision-inducing, dissonant synth riffs and crisply clipped Funky drums, while 'Gin Mixer' locks hard into a bristling R&B/Funky fusion with ace, cut-up, late '80s synth samples. Call Back' on the flip has gotta be the one though, sounding like the evil weirdo cousin to Deadboy's sentimental Garage/Funky archetype. Top 12", well recommended!
