kelpe - Margins EP
Black Acre expand their horizons to incorporate the electro-driven creations of Kelpe, a regular on D.C. Recordings. 'Margins' opens with HipHop drums and twirling guitar copulating with his super bright and clean synthlines, while 'No Film' is a jauntier number squirming with Fink-style drum breaks and electro sytnhs that really wouldn't sound out of place on Ninja Tune. 'Toy Castle' slumps down into a wonkier HipHop groove again chewed with elastic synths into a tacky ball of fun, followed by 'Taps On', a Beat Dimensions style chunk of cosmic wonk.
