Currently prepping their third LP for 4AD, Blonde Redhead offer a taster of what's to come, releasing the album's opening track, 'Here Sometimes' as a single. The band worked with rising Swedish production duo Van Rivers and The Subliminal Kid (whose credits include Fever Ray and Glasser). The icy synth-pop production brilliantly suits Kazu Makino's vocal and suggests promising things are tome from the full-length. Meanwhile, on the B-side 'Love Or Prison' gets a Kastellat mix, setting up another great marriage of hangdog, understated crooning and melancholic circuitry.
