Debuting on Moshi Moshi, Swedish act Niki & The Dove drop an anthemic dose of disco-bound high drama. It's an age-old yarn about dancing to forget your woes - another one of those peculiarly Swedish, melancholy takes on club-pop that keeps on cropping up, from Abba's 'Dancing Queen' to Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own'. This particular example of the form is a fairly thunderous, pomped up affair, accurately described by Popjustice as sounding "like The Knife at Eurovision". The B-side 'Under The Bridges' is pretty impressive too, almost clocking up nine minutes of adventurous, surprisingly heart-rending synth-pop. This lot are definitely worth keeping tabs on.
