Deep, moody and incognito dub techno from the superb 1XA gang, just how we like it. 'Waveshape' is our personal pick of the two, a driven flow of electro-kinked slow techno with bleak, cavernous atmospheres to lose yourself in. 'Atrium Munitions' on the flip irons out those kinks for a rolling dub-techno cut with organically swelling blusters of noise and a drowsy velocity that works a treat gone silly O'Clock. All sorts of rumours abound as to the identity of these cats; some say they're bricklayers from Blackpool, while others claim it's David Guetta's brother, Gary, but we'd prefer to stay in the dark. Fans of Fluxion, Conforce and Andy Stott should really check this!
