mark e - Nobody Else
Excellent modern house music from Mark E, offering two original productions plus bonus beats and a digital exclusive for Gerd Janson's Running Back stable. We're a bit partial to the lead cut 'Nobody Else', a surprisingly electronic oriented cut for Mark E, but loaded with a typically heavy quota of disco bass and kinky cowbell rhythms. This track has understandably been getting the likes of MCDE and James Holden in a fluster recently. On a more laidback vibe 'The Wolf' captures 9-minutes of dreamy, club-wise disco traction that's been exciting Roman Flugel, and then there's a cosmically inclined sleep-house groove on 'Stoneleigh Express'. Do check.
