likhan' - Boston / Boxin
Likhan swings himself away from the Dubtech sound with two deep house inspired jaunts. While there's traces of his former sound, both tracks operate on a house tempo with melodic organ motifs and laidback percussion more inspired by the Prescription catalogue or DJ Gregory than anything in the modern dubste quarters. However, it's not all nice, keeping some semblance of dirt under the fingernails with rude squelching bottom end and ruffed-up soca shuffles compatible with the post-'step, Funky brigade.
