Escapers One

Parts & Labor are a three piece from Brooklyn who combine fractured power electronics with heavy hip-hop styled beats ready for absolute destruction wherever it's played. For some reason this sounds like a Merck record put through a blender and then coughed up by Kid 606, and if you like the sound of that description you'd better check it out. There's some serious gear-play on show here, it sounds like the band have rewired everything in their armoury and it's all coughing up blood at the same time. Horribly noisy but at the same time it's quite bumpin. There's even a leaning towards the chiptune music we all know and love from those NES days. aaah, nostalgia.
