Chicago's Steven Tang drops his latest on Keith Worthy's Aesthetic Audio label. There's four tracks of strong but smooth house music, sounding more Detroit than typically Chi-town due to a sophisticated sense of melody and elegantly efficient rhythm construction. Aerial sets the pace with heavy kicks dappled with sweet keys, while 'Verged' shakes things up with a tracky Latin kink with a refined melodic reserve. On the flip 'Glimmer' is layered with lush late night synth washes and 'Rocket Deep' offers a lovely blue moment for the weary ends of the dance. Fans of Jus Ed, Levon Vincent, Tony Lionni.
