monkey steak - Hyped Up
Wicked Afro-styled dance-plundering from the notorious Monkey Steak aka Atki2 and Hanuman. The pair are responsible for a series of minor underground classics like the truly awesome 'Grim Dubs Vol.1' and the very first release on Punch Drunk. This time round 'Hyped Up' gives a steaming helping of Socafied booty-clash featuring MC Zulu rattling off live-O lyrics for the dance. On the flip we get the Bhangra-infected 'Tigris Riddim' which featured on last years Toddla T Fabric mix and the best of the lot, an NYC flavoured UKF riddim on 'Haarlem Drift'. Aces.
