Boomkat product review for:
nicholas sauser / ditch / barem - Vizard E.P
With previous form for Microcosm, Minibar and Safari electronique, you kind of already know what you're getting - the side long title cut is a horror show journey into eerie rhythms and the telltale organic textures, built by syncopating percussion and a liquid ultra heavy bassline. Barem brings the remix science - fully formed funk directions offered and taken up with haunting bleeps and a killer spacious, yet sometimes claustrophobic feelin production. To close "I gotta move on" melts quirky elements into a chopped vocal and mesmerising dubby delays - very nicely done chaps!
