hotplate - The Dance Of Hotplate
Solo bluegrass guitar stylings here, very much in the tradition of John Fahey. There is of course rather a lot of this sort of stuff around at the moment, but Hotplate's not only got the technical chops, he's actually rather good at writing a decent ragtime tune to boot. One side sports some heavy bottleneck blues action, while the other is a finely fingerpicked ditty that's best compared to the Jack Rose school of Takoma revisionism. Nice job.
