When we first heard about this project we had to try hard to reserve judgement. It smacked of an A&R head's dream after one too many scooby-doobs after stumbling into a dubstep club on a night out with the office. We'll cut to the chase anyway, you really only need this for Scuba's Sharpened Scythe mix of 'Street Corners' feat Bronze nazareth, Solomon Childs & Byata (extended Wu-fam, trust), perhaps for the novelty value of hearing him do a fairly straight-up Hip Hop tune, and also becuase it's quite good. Matt-U's mix takes a US dubstep stance and uncomfortably squeezes Raekwon, Pimp C & Icewater (I know, I know) over a bit of a Brostep riddim, and Chimpo gets dark and mean with GZA & Justice Kareem's 'Cinema' on the flip.
