Checking the pulse of Bristol's current underground, new imprint If Symptoms Persist presents a cool cut from Wedge & Shadz backed with a terrific remix from Guido. On the original version Wedge provides a laidback R&B influenced dubstep riddim for MC Shadz' Bristolina accented lyrics, but it seriously pales in significance to the Guido mix on the flip. Guido flips the riddim upways with a flourish of post-garage/dubstep rhythmic flux before doing strange things with Shadz vox, morphing the reverb space for trippy effect, in turn creating one of the freshest garage/experimental/R&B/dubstep/wotever tracks we've heard this month. Badass tune, recommended to fans of Appleblim, Joker, Bass Clef or Gemmy!
