Soulful dude George Evelyn of Nightmares On Wax set up his own label called Wax On last year in order to release honest soulful music. This EP takes a trip to the big sofa in yo mindz with three cuts from previously unheard artists. The Deadbeats provide the heavy instro-hiphop with symphonic strings cut 'Got What I Want' on the A-side, taking shades of Theo P and stirring them with a dubby finger, while over on the flip Negghead provides the highlight with a Thriller style Electro-Soul edit and Hungryghost veer off on the wrong path with a murky bit of trip-hop updated for 2009. Worth checking that Negghead cut!
