This new highly limited 10" on Little Red Rabbit Records comes packaged in screen printed, hand-numbered sleeves, featuring artwork that resonates with the dark and ghostly songs captured therein. Comparisons with The Tindersticks and Nick Cave are probably inevitable, but perhaps also Michael Gira's output of recent years would be a reasonable port of call. Violins sear through these gothic shanties, mirroring the bleak melodrama of singer Kevin Craig's vocal style, rendering the EP's three tracks all very alluring in an eerie sort of way.
