Finally back in stock! Anyone who's visited our offices in the last couple of months will know that we've been obsessing over this immaculate imprint with total childlike bewilderment, rabbiting on about it to anyone who'll bother to listen. These guys are not only wonderfully anonymous, they also seem to operate without any of the usual baggage associated with trying to establish a name or a following - just doing what they do without even a faint interest in public opinion, comment or fashion. And so we follow up the meticulously schizophrenic sublow / crooner genius of last installment "Hater / Byker" with the utterly alien pop serenades of "Foller" and "Home". The a side flows with a shimmering cascade of harp and a world of malfunctioning found sounds, coupled with that voice that's already become something like a familiar friend over the course of the last few releases. Highly unusual and more addictive then you could possibly imagine - amazing music. "Home" on the flipside marries a mandolin with a beautifully plucked double-bass and layered vocals over the course of two perfect minutes - utterly utterly wonderful music that continues to confound our expectations, regardless of how high these were to begin with. The sound created by people who seemingly have absolutely nothing to prove, a rarity in itself. An absolute Must.
