Founder of Wiesbaden's Superbleep DJ team (along with Don Disco aka Losoul), S-Max also runs the techno / electro / house label Boogizm. Widely influenced by classic Detroit, Chicago and classic electronic music, his productions alternate between deep Moodymann style house, stark minimal rhythms in the vein of Dan Bell's Dbx, the crispness practiced by Herbert, Akufen or Morgan Geist, and the forceful funky techno of the likes of Cristian Vogel and Claude Young. This EP offers 4 funk-filled minimal techno tracks with plenty of groove to be found within their micro-house threads.
