When Arto arrived from Africa in order to make some fast & dirty music, equipped with fine & basic production gear Arto Mwambé came up with a quite unique ep including 2 tunes to tear the roof off and the sucker, and possibly make him famous in the western hemisphere. With "Cryptonite" dr. Mwambe describes his feelings about conversations in a techno club. "you're saying a lot of cryptic things tonite, i don't understand..." the track combines some protoplasmatic afro power with keen housebeats. "Pink people" basically describes Arto's view on our european society - a coldrocking arpeggio monster, that shows no mercy to nobody - it features a deranged solo - which Arto played on his home-made recycled guitar! The north african scene has lost one of their greatest sons and after all that's our gain.
