current 93 - Nature Unveiled
Dating back to 1984, Nature Unveiled was the debut LP by Current 93, and as was the case with last week's reissue of Dog's Blood Rising, this edition aims to reproduce the presentation of the original pressing whilst restoring and remastering the audio in no small measure. As an extra added bonus, you'll find tucked away in the jacket a repress of the Current 93 / Nurse With Wound split 7" single from the same year, which came with the initial 1000 copies of the first edition. Nature Unveiled is an incredible piece of work, and surely one of the most sincerely dark and sonically menacing albums you could ever hope to clap ears on - and the bonus 7" is remarkable in its own right, the Nurse With Wound side being particularly rewarding. Highly recommended.
