DZ is one of those producers who just consistently steps up their game with each new release, while you may not love every step in the progression, it's certainly always admirable and recognisably moving forward. With a string of releases to his name for everyone from Hot Flush to Black Acre, and some of his best material on Lo Dubs this one easily tops them all with the finest soul-cum-B-More-steppers production this year. The big track is an edit of Bobby Caldwell's 'What You Won't Do For Love' with very smart edits applied to a proper rousing soul classic from 1978, which is gradually rearranged into a bass filled B-More party house track sounding like Rod Lee and D1 hooking up for a bit of fanny-round in the studio and unexpectedly emerging with this beauty. It's party dynamite and demands your very quick attention! This one won't be round for long either, we assure you....
