lykke li - I'm Good, I'm Gone (Metronomy Mix)
On the heels of the remix 12", this 7" compiles the original Bjorn Yttling (of Peter, Bjorn & John) produced single with the Metronomy overhaul that led the way on that aforementioned EP. There seems to be a fuss over some new Swedish popstar every fortnight or so at the minute, and it'd probably be unkind to describe Lykke Li merely as this year's El Perro Del Mar (especially when El Perro Del Mar just released a new album), nope, she's more like this year's Taken By Trees, what with the Yttling connection and all. Just because it's starting to feel like a bit of a production line doesn't mean Sweden is any less the hotbed of talent though, and while 'I'm Good I'm Gone' doesn't quite scream 'chart-topping anthem', it's a very chic, respectable pop song.
