**4CD boxset includes posters, inserts and defaced passport photo** Perhaps one for the hardiest industrial fiends, but an important collection nonetheless - 'Mutation For A Continuity' compiles the four tapes made by Maurizio Bianchi and given out to friends prior to the birth of his infamous, decadent M.B. output. As to be expected, it's f**king unfriendly and primal, mostly swamped in tape saturation to the point of oblivion and probably best recommended for use in sado masochistic rituals or your morning commute to the torture chamber. "Before starting the complex and compelling production of many records and tapes in the early eight… Read more

**One-time pressing of 330 copies only** "Issued for an art event recently presented at the Galleria Milano in the first week of April 2012, the recordings on this LP edition represent a very specific and intimate moment in the creative sound production of Davide Mosconi with NADMA associates Inez Klok and Gustavo Bonora. For Davide Mosconi and for all the artists and musicians involved in the groups he founded (the legendary NADMA, Organic Archestra, Il Quartetto, Alea), improvising sessions were a daily practice that founded their very idea of music: a constant flux, a spontaneous research as important as li… Read more

**Edition limited to 300 copies, including the graphic score to 'Musique Directe V'** Planam initiate the Gollaboration series between French avant-garde unit Gol and titans of contemporary music, starting with husband/wife Romanian spectralists Iancu Dumitrescu & Ana-Maria Avram, plus members from Ensemblul Hyperion. Spontaneous and intense, 'Musique Directe' is poised on the edge of advanced electro-acoustic music and primitive avant-garde, using Dumitrescu's infinitely morphing digital processes as a basis for deft, but restrained improvisation. The results are wildly unpredictable and almost always … Read more

**Limited edition of 400 pressed on green (200) or orange (200) vinyl** Heavy and hopelessly diverse racket from the Texan/London duo. Their 5th album for UK indie Riot Season incites a violent swagger with the booming, doomy ten-minute lurch of 'Dinner With My Girlfriend' coming off like Justin Broaderick with a sicker sense of humour, while 'Mermuda Triangle' wastes a perfectly nice song under wicked waves of catty, face-mauling electronic noise and distortion, followed by the mournful, whiskey-drenched and glossolalic croons of 'Jream Baby Jream'. Flipside's 'Woodpecker' is starts… Read more

Collecting all four of Mitochondrial DNA's cassettes on caustic noise and industrial ambience released so far in 2012. Hospital Production put it best: 'Strawberry Sugar Zeros' "fast paced death noise from the star lake cluster. baseless. degraded. like japan's mo*te"; Powercrash's "obligation noise'; Extreme Depression Extreme Excitement On My Way To The Executioner's "total death noise from the star lake cluster"; World Largest Ink Collection's "obligation noise ala smell and quim".

Lettera 22 is the duo of Matteo Castro and Riccardo Mazza, two men on the forefront of the flourishing Italian noise & experimental scene. “Dieter Tapes” is a sordid collage of desolate audio, repurposed and destroyed. The pair use extreme textures and dynamics to build up high levels of abusive tension, only to send them crashing down in a cacophony of broken beer bottles and urban scrap, leaving behind a skeleton of seething silence and tape hiss. A seedy and voyeuristic recording, and another strong addition to the NNA Tapes catalogue.

**Brutal, knotted noise in the vein of John Weise, Farmers Manual, old Prurient** "The followup to 2008's Khora, Fragments of the Marble Plan adds an electronic carapace to Aufgehoben's cataclysmic noise-rock foundation. The prevailing sound evokes the Mego label before it added "Editions" to its name and became enamored of American guitar mavericks - back when it purveyed cyclotronc, abstarct electronic music that had the centrifugal force of an irrefutable Ph.D. thesis. Such is the overwhelming power of Aufgehoben ont he British group's sixth album that even exposure to the MP3's makes one relieved to have health insurance…"

Living, livid legends Masami 'Merzbow' Akita and Lasse Marhaug have been trading blows since the mid-90s: significant releases have included the split single 'First Rock' in 2001, and a number of live collaborations, usually featuring other artists - such as Jim O'Rourke and Hair Stylistics. Mer Mar is their first recording together as a duo, made at GOK Sound Studios in Tokyo in 2010. An action painting of pedal-manipulated scrap metal screeching and analogue synthesis, referencing classic 80s Merzbow works like Material Action, Mer Mar is no easy listen but then, who wants that when you cou… Read more

More dense power electronics presumably from the same dude behind the bloodied Force Publique Congo releases (not confirmed!). Murky samples from TV/Radio/Youtube seep though clammy drones and excoriating bursts of distortion, best heard on the frightfully stoic 'Pan-Africanist Y. Association' or 'Pre-Manufactured'. Not suitable for kids.
