ital tek - Hyper Real (Throwing Snow / Deft Mixes)
Ital Tek yields four dextrous, emotive IDM/juKe fusions backed with crafty Throwing Snow and Deft remixes. The Brighton-based artist turns out signature, streamlined soft-synth contours and kinetic footwork patterns in detailed dancefloor structures ranging from the blue slow/fast float of 'Hyper Real' to slamming, Kuedo-like downstrokes on 'Re Entry' and to lush, fluttering effect with the spiralling arpeggios and simulated 808s of 'The Flood' and 'Froze Up'. Throwing Snow is the ideal candidate to remix 'The Flood', turning in a furtive piece of low-flying and cinematic electro bump with hints of classic Jan Hammer updated thru calculated programming, and likewise Deft is the well appointed to serrate 'Hyper Real' with his filigree edit chops.
