'Duty' sets up for the stagger and waggle crew with loose drums offsetting old skool Loefah-style subs and plangent synth shapes that open and envelope an uncoiling, industrial-strength steppers' groove. 'Texers' flexes out on a badboy rollers tip; elliptical bass and hardbody snares synch under darkside Ed Rush-style synthlines and a chirping early '00s grime hook that's got us by the balls.
