'Red Book' connects krautrock and kosmiche heritage with modern teutonic techno in a hypnotic and dramatic manner we've not really heard before. To a bedrock of throbbing bass and ominous synth drone, layers of hypnotic polyrhythm and shifting patina of samples lock into neotantric mantra for nearly 80 minutes. It's ambitious and brilliant, a "DJ tool as well as avantgardistic liturgy. A clubtrack unleashed from common duration", as they put it.
