george fitzgerald - Needs You
Smooth but driving, bottom-heavy tech-house killer from George Fitzgerald, dressed with mellow dub chords and laconic male vocal pressure - it sounds custom-designed to satisfy the 'floor at Mulletover and other of those historically minimal-inclined spots that have warmed massively to the swung new wave house of George, Joy O et al. The synthed-out 'Every Inch' is structurally a little more interesting, but it's actually Deetron who steals the show with his remix of the same track: acid-spiked techno-funk that might have been forgettable were it for some really nice breakbeat-leaning drum programming and a monstrous Reesealike bassline that cuts through the jack like a knife through butter.
