Here, 'Homes Built Over The Sea' is possibly one of their most layered, nuanced compositions, leading us blindfolded from crepuscular ambience to marrow-freezing synth pulses and phosphorescing tones in a sheer digital simulation of Afro-noise dread. 'Refuges From Black Magic' is no less welcoming; the tattoo of tropical rain on corrugated tin and concrete frames resonant drones and unhealthy subbass movements in pitch black ritual. So damn good.
