jam city - Classical Club Mixes
Coolest kid on the Bass block, Jam City, drops an eagerly awaited haul of edits for his outstanding 'Classical Curves' album. He's put a bit of meat on dem bonez, extending, dubbing and revising some of the LP's strongest dancefloor tracks. 'Her' is still lean, but now toned with a trackier Chicago/C*nty flavour, next to the fleshlier 12" mixes of 'The Courts' and a teasing take of 'How We Relate To The Body'. The aerodynamic sensuality of 'Club Thanz' is also extended and dubbed out, alongside a useful instrumental of 'The Nite Life''s dynamic Footwork hyperboogie, but the highlight is no doubt the deadly, delayed gratification of nine minute filter house epic '…Now We Relate'.
