Brainfeeder's unstoppable release schedule continues apace, yielding a brand new EP from Lapalux. It's a swoonsome affair, particularly opener 'Quartz', with its oriental chimes, relaxation-tape vocals and gossamer synths. 'Jaw Jackin'' provides some grit, but its still very much in the seductive mode, with miasmic female vocals floating over the juddering, jabbering, glitched-to-f**k beats. Kerry Leatham's vocals take centre-stage on crepuscular wonk-fest 'Forgetting And Learning Again', but the highlight of the record comes in the shape of 'Strangling You With The Cord''s plangent, elasticated futureboogie.
