koreless - Lost in Tokyo
For the third release on his Vase label, Jacques Greene welcomes Koreless, who in fact made a guest appearance on VSE01 earlier this year. The Glasgow-based producer's 'Lost In Tokyo' is a near-beatless ambient track, showcasing his confident ability to create a compelling narrative out of little more than some soft-synth lines and nicely manipulated vocal layers. DJs don't panic though: Jacques Greene remixes the track for the B-side, keeping its lush harmonic architecture, adding some deep, technoid arpeggios and a pacy, stepping 4/4 thump for the 'floor.
