Lovely, pastoral pop from the Cambridge-based four-piece, contributing a gentle suite of Gallic melody and frothy electronics to the Long Division With Remainders project. Using samples from the project's collective "pot" shared by Isnaj Dui, The Doomed Bird Of Providence and BLK Tag, the cute quartet juxtapose abstract waves with finely structured pop songs, seducing with the floating harmonies of 'The Ungrateful Root' and the evocative instrumental cue 'Into the Forest of Eyes', before strongly recalling the likes of Stereolab or Belle & Sebastian on 'Banbury Grove' - no doubt thanks to Mei Yau Kan's wispy vocals - before sealing it all with the sighing synths and blushing harmnic hues of 'The Clearing'. Lush.
