Certified canuck, XI complements New Kanada's diverse roster with three tracks of swinging, shuffling, stepping House/Bass. With 'Joy/Fear' he's on a mad one full of pitch-bent synthlines and samples swerving between 4/4 House, loping dubstep and junglist tussles in unique style. The melodies and scuffed groove of 'Nightlif' are much friendlier and a smart departure from his ravier gear, and then there's the bubbling, aquatic skip and swing of 'Antikythera'.
