Unexpected but entirely welcome HipHop aces from Sinden's Grizzly imprint, backed with remixes from Sinden, S-Type and Renaissance Man. Production on 'Stomp' is weighty, bringing bottom-out subs, darkside synth riffs and percolating, Pharrell-like beats for the party, while 'Pop Painkillaz' is more smoked-out and funked-up featuring JB's Fred Worsley and Bernie Worrell. Remixing, Sinden drops the bass looower and jams with fractious, ricocheting stabs, while S-Type sets off a wicked Deep South bounce, and Renaissance Man does it for the 808 rollers. Chunky fun.
