Preceding her eagerly anticipated (and really bloody ace!) Carter Tutti Void record with Chris & Cosey, Factory Floor's Nikki Colk serves a ghoulish noise sculpture on O Genesis Records. 'Gold E'' manifests as five minutes of stereo swirling guitar feedback shaped into squally blasts and panned hard across the channels. It's minimal and with an ominously dark, sci-fi edge, like the soundtrack to a descent into the bowels of an abandoned space station while attempting to evade killer sentinel bots. Ace.
