Young producer Umba drops his 2nd EP of Instra:mental-influenced, freestyling Electro/Acid Techno/Bass, backed with a badass UTTU remix. To be fair he's got a way to go before he's honed the studio skills of his heroes, but the arrangements and ideas are evidently on their way, from the intricate acid churn of '12;05', to the driving, darkside aces 'Acid Rain' and 'So-Socialize'. Certified rudeboy DJ Haus up the ante with one of his best remixes to date, shredding 'Acid Rain' with mad stop/start/reverse edits and a straight to tape flavour that Ron Hardy would surely award his blessing.
