A choice cut from Gang Colours' forthcoming debut album suite, backed with Machinedrum, Deft, and Ifan Dayfydd remixes. 'Fancy Restaurant' gives a fine taste of what to expect from Gang Colours' deeply refined, debonaire long player, setting a twilight tone of sparse keys, supple electronic soul beats and largely unadorned vocals which pretty much defines his sound. The remixes divert and expand on this sound, from Machinedrum's hyperkinetic jungle-jazz-IDM rework thru the far Eastern refractions of Ifan Dafydd's midnight boogie version, and an impressively meticulous rearrangement by newcomer, Deft.
