Oozing, lo-fi electronics for weirdos just about sums up the sound of NNF's latest recruit, one Thibault Gondard from Belgium. Much like his native brethren Innercity, he shares a love of battered hardware and cleverly tempered distortion, but there's something stranger, more uncategorised about his sound, veering from murked-out and synthy bashment-psych on 'Avontuur' to the lurching RPG enigma of 'Ivry' and head-drift kosmiche R&B with 'Ilsée' or blown-out Sun Araw-style dub wreckage on 'The Fears'. Definitely one to watch, this guy.
