Shark-eyed, darkside subterfuge from one of the 2011's most defining projects. We've been blessed with an abundance of timeless material from Dominik Fernow (Prurient) as Vatican Shadow this year, and most importantly, the quality hasn't waned in the slightest despite its proliferation. Here he vents six stream-of-consciousness arrangements, stalking bruised and deeply enigmatic territory. The best of these have to be the Terminator soundtrack-esque 'Harbinger Of Thjings To Come', the insipidly creepy 'Worshippers At the Same Mosque' and the oppressive military boogie of 'Missing HMM364 Squadron Purple Foxes Assassins'. F**king genius.
