Killer, Hi-Tech rhythm coordinations from Dave Huismans aka 2562! A Made Up Sound is a handle for those mercurial, bracket-evading beats and pieces he likes to chuck out from time to time, feats of re-encoded rhythmic DNA splicing the flex of Garage, House and Techno into something fresh and futurist. A-side is 'Take The Plunge (Beat Mix)', syncing corrugated metallic delays to a rolling, offset swing rhythm with an impressively spatialized design: dynamic sounds attack from all directions while the funk remains sturdy as. Flipside 'Anger MGMT' cuts a more swaggering silhouette, pivoting off hi-tech jazz drums and darting stabs, while noirish drones and gaseous apparitions form and dissolve, whereas 'Take The Plunge (First Thought)' locks into a moire of jabbing, staggered pulses and pitch-titled drones in a pristine hyperspace.
