*Double album collecting all nineteen remixes of Radiohead's 'The King Of Limbs' album by Caribou, Mark Pritchard, Shed, Thriller, Blawan, MDSLKTR, Jamie xx, Objekt, Anstam and many more* Over the course of seven 12"s, Radiohead dispersed their latest album between some of the finest electronic music producers of the moment for diverse and sometimes brilliant remixes. In doing so, they commendably exposed a lot of very fresh talent to crowds who may not necessarily already be aware of them, while giving their timeless songcraft a healthy boost into modern dancefloors and maybe younger head spaces. Some participants went staright grooving, as with Thriller's (aka Actress & Lukid) spooked and stepping Techno mix of 'Give Up The Ghost', Lone's lushly euphoric 'Feral' revision' and Jacques Greene's sultry, swinging House mix of 'Lotus Flower', while others stepped outside of their comfort zones with more experimental approaches. Pearson Sound's scavenger mix of 'Morning Mr Magpie' was an impressive piece of sound design, while Anstam unexpectedly incorporated the vocals into their austere architectures with great success, while others, such as Illum Sphere and Jamie xx, really refreshed the originals with highly distinguished interpretations.
