The prolific Steve Moore, responsible for records as Zombi, Titan, Gianni Rossi and countless other outfits, excels himself on two Techno trips to the very ends of the galaxy. While he's hinted at this style in his many guises, it often tends towards more Italo disco or Krautrock styles, whereas this time he's really nailed the essence of pulsing Techno linearity while retaining his trademark vintage synth flourishes. We love the wide-eyed stabs on the more uptempo night-glider, 'Zero-Point Field' (roughly 135bpm tempo fans), while the trancier 'Frigia' will have to be reserved for those points of the morning when the pupils can get no wider. Strong stuff.
