pierce warnecke - The Machine Serves
Berlin's Pierce Warnecke, former student of Berklee College of Music and sound designer for a well known music software company presents his fusion of electronic funk and avant garde eccentricities on Fremdtunes. 'The Machine Serves' feels like a more laidback but less complex companion to the sort of crafty tunes written by Dorian Concept, and there's some lovely, Analord-esque elements to 'In The Shadows Of Humans'. One to watch, this fella.
