This is the fourth amazing volume in a revelatory series celebrating the music of black London. This title introduces the likes of Ginger Johnson who, by the 1960s, was the premiere Latin/African percussionist in the country. Many artists featured recorded for the London Melodisc label at some point, including Dorothy Masuka, Victor Coker, Enoch & Christy Mensah, and Lord Kitchener. If you enjoyed the evocative calypso of either of the first three volumes - this is arguably the best yet and another brilliantly compiled historical document from Honest Jons. Highly Recommended.
