Diverse and killer collection of power noise, goth, darkest ambient and avant-Techno tracks by Alberich, Dominik Fernow (in his Prurient and Vatican Shadow guises), Contrepoison (aka Âmes Sanglantes), FFH and Lussuria. Firstly, this is kinda unmissable for the Vatican Shadow tracks at least, either the clammy, dystopian Techno pulses of 'The Triumph Of Religion', or the hypnotic rhythmic ellipses of 'Conspiratorial Whispers', just check the samples!!! Alberich is in fine form too with the Badalementi synth pads and mumbling bass of 'Gold', and the tortured scapes of 'Virgins', while Contrepoison excel on the lo-fi, Coil-like dirge of 'Poisonous Desires'. Subtlest, and by turns, the darkest of the the lot is FFH's eye-quivering sub-harmonic ambient tones on 'Against Ghettos Fragrant Gardens', next to two blank-eyed drone meditations from Prurient and Lussuria. Highly recommended listening.
