Instra:mental's Damon Kirkham dips out on his 2nd Jon Convex single. 'Radar' locks into another futurist Electro swerve, powered by booming, augmented 808 kicks and darker sci-fi pads reminding of the oft-overlooked Made album on SCSI-AV, but with a deliberately coarser, caustic bite. 'Vacuum States' is more funked-up, synching twysted acidic synths and machine drums with a robotic swing, and cloaked with arcing sci-fi pads. Dope.
